Rendering Farm

Today i want to write about one of the render farms. It’s because i was surprised by their creativity in marketing. They didn’t tell nothing wrong, they only didn’t tell anything – at least in my perception

Okay, the introduction to this article is a little bit mysterious, so i’m hurry to explain, what i’m talking about. You know, that almost every single farm has on the web site a page named like “Customers opinions” or so. They mention about things, that they have done on their rendering farms.

And one of the farms mentioned about few movies, that they have rendered. Nothing special or that needs some high requirements, except one title (again, i won’t tell any names – but this time because this site is about rendering farms rather than movies). This title was slight significant, for all the lovers of the series or this kind of movies.

And at first i was like: WOW. But when i’ve read the entire information i was like: nah…

What happend in the meantime? Well, at first i thought, that they rendered every single special effect in the movie. But it wasn’t true – they rendered only few scenes, that were in a trailer to this movie. Yay, a great reason to bragging.
